Our interest groups are the heart and soul of what we do. All of them are run by members who are kind enough to give their time for free and there are no outside tutors. Some groups meet in members' homes, whilst others are held in public meeting places, depending on the activity that's taking place and the type of venue required. After the experiences of lockdown, some groups have even found that online meetings (using Zoom) are ideal for their purposes.
You need to become a member of u3a in order to join one or more of our groups on a regular basis, but you are welcome to come along first as a visitor (once or twice) to decide whether or not this is for you.
