Session 2024 / 2025

This group meets in the Callander Kirk Hall on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The 2024 / 2025 session will start on Tuesday, 10th September 2024 and finish on Tuesday, 24th June 2025 but we will have a Christmas break after our meeting on Tuesday 10th December, resuming on 14th January 2025.

We collect £2 from everyone at each meeting to cover costs and please bring your own mug for tea or coffee.

Mahjong is a popular – but quite complicated board game – originating from China. The tiles are exotic and add greatly to the enjoyment of the game. Although in China the game is closely associated with gambling, we play the Western version. Don’t worry if you haven’t played before as we have a beginners’ table though it will help if you read this Wikipedia article before you come.
