UPDATE for 2024

The Current Affairs group meets fortnightly on Monday mornings at 10:30 a.m. We look at contemporary, domestic and world problems, with different members of the group taking it in turns to undertake some research on a particular topic and then present their findings for discussion by the whole group. Each session normally concludes with a discussion on items of “breaking news”..

Starting in Autumn, 2024, we shall be meeting in person each fortnight at the Abbotsford Hotel, Stirling Road, Callander.
