For the session 2023 - 2024

This group is aimed at those with either no Latin or only dim memories from time at school. We meet at my home and there are two levels available:

Beginners

Tuesday - 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The aim of the class is to appreciate small, selected gems of poetry in the original, with massive help from me. The first few weeks will be devoted to grammar and syntax - the "pain before the gain". No text book is required but advice will be given when we meet. There will be a small charge for printed note sheets as we go along, or they can be run off at home for free.

Advanced

Tuesday - 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

There is no charge for the sessions themselves but we invite members to make a donation to charity at coffee time. For further information, please contact Peter by clicking on his name below (as coordinator) and completing the web form that appears.
