Can't find what you need?
If you're having trouble finding what you need, you can try using the SEARCH bar just above on the right-hand side of the screen. If all else fails, try contacting one of the people on the CONTACT page.

Further down this page, you will find some links to our constitution, policies and further administrative information for branch members. There are links to various external websites: u3a in Scotland and its associated site called "Online Across Scotland". Then there is also a link to a very useful local site called "In Callander".
Callander & West Perthshire u3a branch
u3a in Scotland
This is a network for all u3a branches in Scotland. It provides quarterly meetings, a summer school every two years and a number of dedicated, online groups for u3a members in Scotland under the banner of 'Online Across Scotland'. (See below) The network gives support to all existing u3a branches in Scotland, as well as offering guidance and help to those who wish to start a new branch. Follow the link below to see their recently developed website.
The latest newsletter (Spring 2025) from u3a in Scotland is also available on the second link below.
Online Across Scotland
u3a Scotland runs a number of online groups for u3a members throughout Scotland. For further information about the groups that are currently available, please use the button below to go to the website. These groups are particularly useful for people who are unable (for various reasons) to travel to conventional u3a groups.
u3a Scotland is also on the lookout for more facilitators to run new groups. At the moment, they would be particularly interested to find someone willing to run a Gaelic group or a group about Scottish authors. Please use the "Contact" page on their website to signify your willingness to undertake such a project. Many thanks!
Local Information
u3a Trust
The u3a Trust is the national body that provides educational and administrative support for all u3a branches in the British Isles. It is overseen by a board of directors which includes regional trustees. The Trust holds an annual general meeting each year which all u3a members are invited to attend. The first link below takes you to their website where more news and information is available.
For anyone who has a particular interest in artificial intelligence (AI), it's worth having a look at the second link which takes you to an associated website for u3a communities - a platform that looks in more detail at subjects on which some u3a members have expressed a particular interest.
