Welcome to the webpages of Callander & West Perthshire u3a, I hope you will find something here to interest you. This is an interim message to update you about some events promoted elsewhere on our website, which are due to happen in the next month.

Firstly, we are organising two local drop-in sessions to tell people, both members and non-members, about our u3a and the groups we are running.

We find many people are not aware of u3a and the benefits it can bring to those in partial or full retirement, especially in
terms of making new friends and acquaintances whilst pursuing an enjoyable interest as part of a group. These drop-in sessions will be in Callander Connect, 43 Main Street, Callander on Tuesday 28th July 2026 between 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm and the second one is during the day on Thursday 30th July 2026 between 11:00 am - 4:00 pm.

We will have some home-baking to share as well as a lot of information to give you from both the Committee and Group Leaders. So, if you are a new or an existing member, we would be delighted to see you.

Our next event is the C&WP u3a AGM which will be held at McLaren Leisure Centre on 6th August 2026, starting at 2:00 pm. The AGM will be followed by an opportunity to look at our Group stands; sign up to the ones you fancy and find out more of what is available at our branch. It is also a chance to pay your annual subscription, currently just £10.

We are a friendly bunch so if you want to find out more about getting involved, either by joining the Committee to make our branch even better or maybe if you have an interest or a
skill which we do not presently run, please come and talk to a committee member, we are always pleased to receive our members’ ideas. We hope to see you soon at one of our up-
